Tom Rich (In Memoriam), Founder & Chairman
A U.S. Army veteran and graduate of UC Berkeley and the University of Delhi, Tom was the founder and Chairman of DigiData Systems LLC, and the lead investor behind Pet Dwelling. A lifelong animal lover, Tom helped hundreds of stray dogs find homes and reunited lost pets with their families during his years in Peter Cooper Village. Later in life, he focused on sustainable energy and digital innovation—always driven by his compassion for animals and dedication to community impact.

Ben Chou, Founder & CEO
Founder of Pet Dwelling LLC, Ben brings over 25 years of IT expertise and a proven track record in launching successful ventures. He single-handedly built and scaled multiple computer and VoIP businesses, generating over $500 million in total revenue within a decade. A lifelong animal lover, Ben once raised two turtles from tiny hatchlings to over a foot long. Today, he applies his experience in cloud computing and digital solutions to protect pets through innovative technology.

Steven Liao, Chief Technology Advisor
An IT specialist with over 20 years of experience, Steven began his career at Polytechnic University (now NYU) and on Wall Street. Since 2008, he has led system migrations and web application development at Columbia University, specializing in secure, large-scale platforms. With deep expertise in web security and AI technologies, Steven applies advanced data solutions to projects like Pet Dwelling. His love for animals began when he joined the Pet Dwelling team and became a pet owner himself. Today, he helps drive innovation in pet safety and AI-analyzed behavior.
